A relaxed wilderness campground in an elevated, natural bush setting overlooking the Jawi Islands and a traditional stone fishtrap, Gumbanan Wilderness Retreat’s campground is one of the few places in WA with a front row seat to a sunrise over the ocean. Wake every morning to a chorus of birdsong and kick back every evening with a campfire view of another spectacular Kimberley sunset.

Unpowered Campsites
Large shady campsites are well suited to large RV’s, camper trailers and family size tents, and all are close to campground facilities.

SAFARI TENTS AT GUMBANAN
If you’re travelling light, our safari tents make perfect sense. With outdoor kitchen, private BBQ and bush shower, these family safari tents include towels and bed linen and each has it’s own outdoor area with amazing views.
